Brief

Capture the attention of supermarket shoppers, and inspire them to trade up from standard tomato pastes and sauces to the new Providore and Provenance range. Showcase the sauces and pastes as the perfect option for individuals looking to serve restaurant-quality Italian dinners from their own kitchen.

Solution

Our films captured Providore’s Italian authenticity and premium quality by recreating the ambiance of eating in at an Italian restaurant, or in Italy itself. Taking inspiration from the new COVID world, our first video led viewers into thinking a waiter is serving a meal to diners in a restaurant only to find out he’s a regular guy serving a delicious Chilli Prawn & Fennel Linguini to his partner at home.

The second video opened on a scene in Itasy, where diners were eating al-fresco. As the camera pulled back, viewers realised it’s actually just a photo sitting amidst others taken on an overseas trip to Italy in a couple’s home. The camera pulled further back to reveal a couple reminiscing, while sitting down to a home-cooked meal inspired by a traditional recipe.
